The Huffington Post reported on the release of the Far Worse than Watergate report written by the US Office on Colombia, LAWG, WOLA and CIP, on the shocking details of the widening wiretapping scandal of the Administrative Department of Security (DAS). The Associated Press reported on the recent sentencing of two paramilitary leaders alias “Diego Vecino” and “Juancho Dique” under the justice and peace law. La Associated Press reportó sobre la condena de dos ex -jefes paramilitares, alias “Diego Vecino” y “Juancho Dique” bajo la ley de Justicia y Paz. Estas condenas son las primeras de su tipo después de 5 años de finalizado el proceso de desmovilización de los paramilitares en el 2005. El Wall Street Journal publicó las declaraciones del Representante y líder de la mayoría Steny Hoyer sobre la necesidad de mover el TLC con Colombia “Es necesario que la administración de Obama tome los pasos necesarios para avanzar con el acuerdo” afirmó Hoyer.
